Are you still not sure, but dying to find out what the fuss is around so called “Organic, natural, green skin care” products? Which one is real, which one is not? Which one to say yes to, which one is a no?
Here is the most simple explanation for you: In my right hand I am holding a fresh, organically grown pear and a plastic bottle in the left. If I bury the pear, it will break down. Juices and vitamins will be absorbed and gone in, let’s say, a month. The earth used all of it. If I bury the plastic bottle, 100, or even 500 years from now it will still be a plastic bottle.
The same way, we consume chemicals and our body doesn’t recognize them; it does not know what to do with them. The results are inflammations, infections, disorders, skin conditions; and these are only the things you can see.
The bottom line is we need to read the ingredients, do the research, and ask questions about the products we use. Don’t assume that if a product were harmful to our bodies , that it would not be available on store shelves. In the end it is all about money and politics. When it comes to your health, ONLY you are responsible. For your own good, be aware of what you put in your mouth as well as what you put on your skin.
